Meeting with the Finance Committee of the Parliament 07 July 2014

Our association participated in a follow up meeting of the Finance Committee of the Parliament about  promotions without salary adjustment. The President of the Association, stated again, the urgent need for immediate promotions among the military personnel, recalling that the proposed positions of the Ministry of Finance is 24 fewer than the existing ones. Surprisingly, we learned through the mouth of Mr. Averof Neofytou President  of DYSI, that military personnel is not required to fill in promotion positions because in the near future the MoD will promote Regulations about Promotions! The President and Vice President of the Association, stressed that the issue is completely different. After the debate, the Committee reserved its decision, with all the potential for open positions promotion of the public and broader public sector.
