41 years later the sirens are still heard at the same time so as to remind that no one should forget the traitorous coup and its tragic consequences. Those who were sacrificed defending democracy and legality are still honoured. Our sacred duty is and will continue to be the defence of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Cyprus.
