Member of Euromil
On the 20th of October 2017, the 116th Conference of the European Organisation of Military Associations (EUROMIL) was held in Riga. Military representatives of Associations and Trade Unions from all the countries-members of EUROMIL attended the conference. The Cyprus Army Officers Association (CAOA) was represented by Captains Kiprianoy Kypros, Samoutis Paris, Papadimitris Dimitris and Lieutenant Charalampidis Panagiotis. During the conference the topic for discussion were the recent European Parliament’s resolution on the European Defence Union and various problems that the military personnel is facing like the lack of representation (through Associations) in some of the EU countries.
